Roanwell Corporation, a leading audio designer and manufacturer of headsets, handsets, microphones, earphones, and accessories for military and commercial communications, today announced it has completed the acquisition of Paramount Cords & Brackets Inc., a New York-based manufacturer of low voltage connectors, sync cords, cables, custom connectors and brackets. Paramount has been a leading provider of professional photographic equipment, as well as medical & audio cables, cord sets and custom connectors for more than 50 years.
Barbara LaBarre, Roanwell CEO said, “…Paramount complements and diversifies our existing business. Paramount’s capability to design and manufacture molds, connectors and perform overmolding will enhance Roanwell’s commercial and military pricing competitiveness. Furthermore, Paramount’s business will receive a boost through Roanwell’s military sales channels.” LaBarre said she expects a modest increase in revenues at both entities.
